James Dobson is... awesome?

KSK writes a hilarious preview of this weekend's Lions-Redskins game... does god like Jon Kitna or Joe Gibbs better?

Mmm... anesthetic. One shot and you're south of the border!

Get Fuzzy has a great strip about cats and life that particularly resonates to us students.

MGoBlog reviews the Michigan offense, or lack thereof, against Northwestern.

The Daily Show has a great clip on the history of Blackwater (Windows Media or QuickTime).

The NY Times has a great tip for purchasing travel (and probably travel in general): pretend you're not American.

WWJDD - What will James Dobson Do if both the Dems and the GOP nominate pro-fetus-killing candidates? Answer: poop their pants, then throw away their votes! Good news for all!

More on Bush's reasons for vetoing the SCHIP child health care bill. Basically, it's too expensive. After all, it would have spent $30 billion more than he wanted over 5 years, and that money would be much better spent on spending another month in Iraq. Those poor kids might be sick as hell, but by god, Saddam isn't going to get them!

Finally, a bill is being considered by the Senate Judiciary Committee that would protect journalists from subpoenas. It's a good idea because we can't have any governmental officials trying to intimidate reporters into silence, although I have no idea who would even dream of doing that...
